The Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) Certificate Program is a nation-wide educational leadership development program administered through the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC). Georgetown University Medical Center and MedStar Health are the first to offer this innovation program as an Institutional Model. I was accepted as a fellow into the program in December. All fellows complete a project over the course of a year. I have decided to focus my project on working with other members of the Georgetown community to build a stronger pipeline for recruiting underrepresented in medicine students.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19, my fellowship program has been postponed, so this section of my portfolio will keep growing and expanding when the program begins again in September.
